My main charity is 'Childcare', below are some brief details about who they are and what they do-
Our mission is:
“To provide a caring professional response to the child in need, irrespective of their background, race or religion and to uphold the rights of the child, ensuring the protection and welfare of the child is paramount”.
Background
The charity was established in 1984 with the aim to provide support and care for disadvantaged children throughout Essex and East London. The provision is for children and families from any background, race or creed. There is no payment or donation required for our service and the funding is through voluntary donations. The charity receives no national or local government grants or provision. Professionally qualified Social Workers give support to children and their families in Essex and the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Newham, Redbridge and Waltham Forest.
